Google released the source code of the latest Android (v4.0) version, codenamed the Ice Cream Sandwich earlier today. The new version is the most anticipated iteration of the fastest growing mobile operating system as it promises to combine the user experience on smartphones and tablets. Google has kept us anticipating the new version of the Android Operating System since the last Google I/O in May this year. Codenamed “Ice-cream Sandwich”, the new version will be officially supported by Google, as opposed to the Honeycomb, as confirmed in the I/O conference.
