Google released the source code of the latest Android (v4.0) version, codenamed the Ice Cream Sandwich earlier today. The new version is the most anticipated iteration of the fastest growing mobile operating system as it promises to combine the user experience on smartphones and tablets. Google Labs always comes up with exciting new features for its set of apps, and this time its a bunch of shiny new set of features. The new feature now adds a ‘preview pane’ in Gmail that can be set in horizontal or vertical orientation. In addition to the desktop, the mobile version of Gmail (not the Android app)  also features a UI improvement with ‘Pull to Refresh’ option. Google has kept us anticipating the new version of the Android Operating System since the last Google I/O in May this year. Codenamed “Ice-cream Sandwich”, the new version will be officially supported by Google, as opposed to the Honeycomb, as confirmed in the I/O conference. Google+, the new sensation from Google HQ is starting to roll out around the world. Although in its beta phase, Google+ is already becoming popular among the initial users, which are invite only.
